Listen for Ambrose and me on 102.5 KZOK, The Bob Rivers Show, Thursday morning. We will be backstage pass guests from 8:30 am to 10:00 am. They often get introduced near the end of the show. Hopefully, we will get a chance to give Spike, Joe, and Bob a t-shirt!
We are finally down to the wire. Our departure date was moved up to Thursday the 25th. Brook got wind of a general strike by the Maoists that is suppose to start on the 2nd of April so we wanted to be out of Nepal before they blocked the roads during the strike. Brook is already in Kathmandu and Al left this morning for Utah where he will deposit is a dog and then fly out from there on Friday. Scott, Ambrose, Ryan, and I will be boarding our flight at 6 pm Thursday.
Also, I almost forgot. I haven’t seen the article but the Everett Herald printed an article about Brook and our trip. I guess they will be covering the expedition. Brook has been doing a ton of work up there going around to local schools giving talks.
